It's Dry. But you can drink it

The 4 generations of the Giuseppe Mascarello family have been growing wines for more than a century and a half, first as farmers running the Manescotto estate in the village of La Morra for the marchesa Giulia Colbert Faletti di Barolo, and then on their own property since the late 1800s

Hailing from the region  Piedmont, Italy the Mascarello family property extends over 15 hectares of vineyards, all located within the Barolo wine-growing area. Some, like the MONPRIVATO vineyard, can now be said to be a part of the family great family history and regarded as some of the great wines of the world.

The Dolcetto d'Alba Bricco is one of the mostly highly regarded Dolcetto of all time dating back to the family’s origins in the 1800s the wine and its winery have stood the test of time going generation to generation and the secret is they don’t the modern world put them under pressure they philosophy is to this day sticking with tradition way in order to produce outstanding wine.

The Dolcetto d'Alba Bricco is no exception this wine of beauty and precision gives off a delightful aroma of Strong nose of raspberry, cherry and a little tobacco. The taste is rounded, fruity and complete on the palate with a lovely terroirs driven transition to the finish. As this Wine can be quite dry we believe it is essential to have some sort food pairing to fully appreciate the quality. Such as home-made chestnut, ricotta and sage ravioli to ensure you are truly getting the best out of the Dolcetto.

Enjoy!
